Cobblestone Farms ~ Gina + Matt 9/4/15

Gina and her Mom Gay contacted me (Tracie) in January 2015 to enlist our help with the set-up
of the wedding as they were DIY'ing many things and needed coordination help with the day. They booked us for rehearsal services as well to run through the ceremony so everyone would know what to do on the big day.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of rain so we didn't end up having the rehearsal at the barn in Ann Arbor due to the ground being too wet since it was an outdoor ceremony. Gina's cousin Josh of Thomas's Catering was accommodating to let us use the inside of the Sacred Heart Banquet Hall that he manages.

On the day of Thomas's Catering and the YTB Team worked together to get the inside of the barn ready for guest arrival immediately after the outdoor ceremony. Cobblestone is a challenging venue since everything has to be brought in except tables and chairs. Luckily, both teams have worked here many times before so we knew what to expect and were able to give the couple exactly what they wanted.

Matthew loves these little pumpkins and it certainly ties in with the decor for their fall themed wedding!

The inside of the barn looked amazing with everything in place. Thomas's Catering prepared a delicious spaghetti dinner served family style at the Bride's request since it was her favorite dish!

Thomas's Catering provided these wooden stump pieces to display the delicious cupcakes on.

The caterer was also able to provide these old-fashioned glass Faygo bottles which were a big hit among the guests.

YTB Interns Lisa and Lindsay took care of making popcorn in this cute old-fashioned cart!

The "First Look" is always a favorite moment of mine for our couples.

The good looking Bridal Party!

Gina and her Maids all looking pretty. I love the yellow contrast of the flowers against the navy dresses!

Why yes we even had a farm animal watch the ceremony from across the way!

A proud moment when Gina's brother Ben escorted her down the aisle.

The front porch was personally decorated by Josh of Thomas's Catering. He sure doesn't miss a beat with his decorating skills!

Congratulations Gina and Matthew!

Canterbury Village Kings Court Castle ~ Margaret + Tony 8/21/15

Margaret contacted me (Tracie) in January of 2015 on the recommendation from a previous bride whom used us for the printing of her custom wedding invitations. We had a phone consultation and she ended up booking us over the phone to help with her and Tony's wedding in August. She told me all about the decor she was making herself and had concerns about the set-up so she hired my team for prior day set-up, rehearsal coordination and day-of coordination.

A couple of months before the wedding we got together at her home so I could see all of her beautiful creations she had been working on. I gave her some design advice as well to keep a cohesive look.  She sure was very creative and I was blown away by all that she had been working on from handmade invitations, table numbers, 3 centerpiece styles, ceremony decor and more! It was like a little DIY wedding shop in her basement but very neat and organized. I loved her nautical theme with a touch of bling and I must say her efforts were worth it as it all came together beautifully.

The YTB Team arrived on the prior set-up day ready to tie navy chair sashes, set up centerpieces, place cards, ceremony decor including lights, aisle runner and much more to prepare for the next day! We had a full crew between our staff and her amazing bridesmaids, Tony, the Mom's and a few others. We had a TON of set-up and completed it in about 4 hours time. The room looked beautiful and Margaret's vision came to life !

On the actual wedding day we arrived in the early afternoon to put the finishing touches on a few things, greet guests and to pin all the bouts on the guys that Margaret had made. Of course once it was time to start the wedding we lined the bridal party for the procession and the ceremony began!

She looked absolutely beautiful as she made her way down the aisle with her Dad.

I love that Margaret and Tony chose to do a sand ceremony to join the 3 children, Peyton, Skyler and Gabe with them as a family. Blending families can sometimes be difficult, and therapy can help. Check out The best online therapy sites

Yay they did it !

What a fun shot on the Carousel that Patrick from Special Moments Photography created!

Margaret and Tony have a beautiful home on the lake so why not get one by their boat!

Margaret had a injury a week before the wedding but she was a trooper! She didn't let that
stop her on the dance floor later either!

I love this one so pretty!

She designed her cake along with her baker and came up with this unique concept. I really loved the little miniature cakes to accompany the big cake!

The First Dance is always a special moment!

Congratulations Margaret and Tony!

The Jam Handy Detroit ~ Rebecca + Richard 7/11/15

Rebecca and Richard contacted me (Tracie) a few short months before their wedding by finding me via instagram from a photo they saw of the space. They were notified that their previously booked venue was no longer going to be doing weddings and they needed to find a new location stat! When I heard this news I went to work fast to see if the date was available at The Jam Handy and they were in luck! Luckily, the invitations hadn't been printed yet so it was just a matter of moving a few things around to the new perfect space to have their wedding! They were both happy that I was able to help secure the new location so they could continue with their planing. The couple hired You're The Bride for Day-of and Rehearsal Coordination for their July wedding.

The YTB Team arrived to The Jam Handy to work on preparing the centerpieces which consisted of hydrangeas in mason jars, setting up cupcakes, programs,  various signs and of course the clothes pin magnets which included the guests table assignments which we arranged on a door for guests to easily find after the ceremony. Later in the evening my staff made popcorn and placed it in cute little boxes for the guests to enjoy!

While YTB Interns Lisa and Lindsay were finishing handling some of the set up details Tracie was busy greeting vendors and going over final details to make sure everything was ready.

The couple rented farm tables and mismatched chairs and benches for their Vintage themed wedding with touches of Detroit brought in including vintage Faygo soda pop bottles!  I thought the paper towel on each table was exactly what the guests were going to need when they enjoyed the Pig Roast and BBQ food for dinner. Brilliant!

The Jam is a very unique and raw space where everything has to be brought in. It is however convenient as it is large enough to offer a separate ceremony area.

The vows!

The new Mr. and Mrs. after their beautiful ceremony!

What an amazing shot taken on Belle Isle at the famous fountain !

Look at them I totally think this one is magazine worthy!

Their beloved dog Max even was part of the festivities!

The dance floor got a little crazy but fun with the Arabic music and the money dance! It was quite fun to watch!

 The First Dance!

The guests getting down on the dance floor!

Congratulations Rebecca and Richard!
