New headshots on Blog for those that are not on FB !

I posted new pictures on Facebook taken of me by Raphael and Ronald Ponkey Photography but forgot to put them on my blog.
I am using the one by the fence on my Meet Tracie page of my site. The one by my car is on my blog. I also have another "funny" one that I will be posting soon but its in the works. Stay tuned!

Sylvia at Bridal Beauty Detroit arranged for her partner Kim to do my hair and make-up for the shoot. I love the way it turned out!

Sorry for you Facebook and Twitter readers if your getting them again since I've got my blog set up as a automatic foward to make social networking easier!

Arnaldo's Riverview ~ Irene and George 5-15-10

Irene hired me just a couple weeks before her wedding. She was very organized being a Event Planner herself for a restaurant in Chicago. She definitely knew what she wanted and You're The Bride was there to make sure everything was pulled together for Day-of Coordination. Check out some of the fabulous professional pictures taken by the amazing Amanda Williams. You can definitely tell which ones were taken with her camera and what ones were taken with mine! It was great to work again with Kristyn from Castle Video.  The best part was Betsy from Gala Linen is a close personal friend of the family and she called me the day before to tell me that she was upgrading all of Irene's table linens as a surprise! The room looked absolutely amazing! We can't forget the delicious cake from Roberto's Bakery and Flowers by Renee did a fabulous job on her centerpieces and personal flowers. Irene and George chose Arnaldo's to have their reception. She flew a Greek Band in from New York and her friend DJ Chilly spun his tunes while the band took breaks. Chilly and his bride -to-be Maryann are getting married on June 12th and I will be coordinating their day too! Can't wait to see everyone again! xo

Sunday's Venue Tour

On Sunday, I spent the day with about 20 other wedding planners on a Reception of the Stars Venue Tour. This is the second one I have attended and it is such a fun experience. Most locations displayed tables with beautiful linens and centerpieces. Satisfaction Limousine provided the transportation for the day from Blossoms of Birmingham. We then went to Indianwood Country Club in Oxford. Frances gave us a tour and provided delicious appetizers for us to try. Next, we headed over to King's Court Castle at Canterbury Village. We all rode on the merry-go-round while we were there! They have recently converted a old barn into a ceremony site so it was nice to see such great use of a space. We then traveled to Dunham Hills Golf Club in Hartland which is a hidden treasure because its so far our and is beautiful. This place is fabulous and they prepared a wonderful tasting of their popular dishes as well. Although it is a bit far out they have some connections with area hotels and will give you complimentary shuttle service when you book at least 10 rooms at their hotel. Next, we went to The Lark in West Bloomfield. What a beautiful spot for a very small intimate wedding. They treated us with champagne, more appetizers including a scrumptious duck salad. Our final destination was The Heather's Club of Bloomfield Hills. This is a beautiful venue and their chef really went all out preparing us a huge sampling of appetizers for us to try. I am already looking forward to our next tour which is scheduled for Sunday, August 1.
