Gobble, Gobble...a few little tips for you brides!

Happy Thanksgiving..just thought I would post a few tips before I head out to family for some Turkey Time!

Tip 1 ...include your new home address on the back of your wedding program so your guests can add you to their address book and stay connected!

Tip 2...always, always, pay deposits with a check or credit card and never give cash! This way the transaction is traceable so you have proof if you have vendor trouble.

Ok that's it for now..have a Happy and Safe Holiday!

Coffee Favors for your event!

Looking for a unique favor to give your guests instead of keychains, wine stoppers, candles, etc? Give them a coffee favor. Cyber City Coffee Company will personalize with your names and dates and are $2.50 each. The one featured was for a Baby Shower with a "Bun in the Oven" theme I planned. The guests loved them! They also put together holiday gift baskets so call them today to place your order before the mad rush! 248-821-9208.

Arnaldo's Riverview ~ Anna and Bob 11/15/08

This weekend I was at St. Joseph in Trenton and then a fabulous reception at Arnaldo's in Riverview. Anna looked beautiful and Bob was very handsome. If you are looking for a unique spot to have your reception you should definately check out this place their banquet rooms offer something a little different than the typical banquet hall. I just love the ceilings! You have to go see for yourself. Silk Thumb Florist and Cakes by Stephanie provided the gorgeous flowers and yummy cake. They both did a great job.

We had rain pretty much all day but Amanda from Amanda Williams Photography was still able to get some great shots but most were inside of course! I met Matt and Gina from Mike Staff Productions as they were there filming the day. Dave also from Mike Staff was there keeping the dancefloor moving. It was a great party!

Now the happy couple is in Puerto Vallarta. AAAHHHH ....they picked the perfect time to get out of dodge with our first snow!

Need Any Heating and Cooling Work done?

Ok I know this is not a normal wedding related post but I wanted to share some info with you that may be useful if you own a home in the Metro Detroit Area. Today I hired Jack from Templin Heating and Cooling of Redford to fix my humidifier and clean my furnace. Thank God no more bloody noses from it being too dry in here. Jack is a really nice guy and takes the time to explain things to his customers. I thought some of my clients might be interested in his services if you are buying a home or are already homeowners and need a furnace check to keep warm this winter. Tell him I sent you.
